What are the conditions for refund?

Both parties must agree upon any returns or refunds before any are to be made final.
Refunds will only be complete upon receiving of returned item. Shipping charges are not refundable.
     We will replace the goods or make refund, if:
               The goods are not merchantable quality
               The goods don't match description
               The goods do not fit for the purpose
               And if the goods are returned unused in original package
     We will not accept return or issue a refund, if:
               The goods arrived to you later than you'd expect.
               You've changed your mind or your circumstances changed.
Returned items which are non-defective are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

What if the item doesn’t match with description?

We do accept return if the item doesn’t match significantly with the description and “Refund Condition” will apply.
As an online seller we try to describe our product as accurate as possible. In case if any information is missing we suggest you contact us to get a correct answer. Gallery images are for illustration purpose only.  We take photo of the actual product to display but the colour and look may slightly vary from the actual product due to flash or lighting effect.
We have two display centers in Melbourne. You are welcome to view the product and try before you buy.

Item arrived later than you expected/ Damaged

For sending our products, we use Standard Freight and Couriers for bulky items, and Standard Parcel Australia Post for smaller items. These are third parties and we have no control of what happens during transit.
Melbournians Furniture is not liable for any loss and/or damages during delivery if insurance fee is not paid.
The delivery time frame that we provide is estimation only and we will not refund if there is any delay.

Change of mind

Though we are sure you’ll love our products, we do understand that sometimes you may change your mind.
If you decide to return your item, we will provide a refund of the original purchase price, less the initial and return delivery fees. If your item was purchased with a free shipping promotion, please note that the actual initial delivery cost (which would have been applied had the item not been on promotion*) will be deducted from your refund along with the return delivery cost. Please also note that a 20% handling/re-stocking fee will apply.

Can I cancel my order if I have made a mistake?

We usually dispatch all our items within 1 business day after receiving payment. Once the item has left our warehouse it is no longer possible to cancel or change the order.
If you cancel a sale before dispatch then you may get a refund minus 20% handling charge as we process item as soon as we receive payment.

What is the method of refund?

We will issue you the refund amount within 7 working days according to the same payment method you used for purchase.

Q: What if I receive an item with external damage in the box/cartoon/packaging?

A:  You may refuse the delivery if the damage is too significant. It is advised to take some pictures of the damaged item and notify us immediately.If the damage is not too significant  then you may accept the delivery and open the box to see if there is any damage to the products. You should always take some pictures even if you accept the delivery.After opening the box if you find that your product is damaged in transit then take some pictures of the damage and notify us immediately.

Q: What if there is a manufacturing fault in the product?

A:  If you discover any manufacturing  faults in the product please notify us immediately with some pictures (only if the fault is visible in the pictures).

If the purchased item is greater than 25kg, or too large for one person to carry, the buyer must have someone available to help the courier unload the item.
We only ship items within Australia, we cannot deliver outside Australia.
Insurance fee will be charged subject to the final price of the product. Please let us know with checkout instructions if you wish to pay this fee.

The estimated time shown is an estimate of when the product will be delivered. This is what is given to us from the delivery service and we are not responsible for a change in circumstances.
Our Freight Service that we use in Postage Calculation operates during Monday to Friday only. Couriers are available during the weekend, limited based on Courier's jobs on the day.
As these are outside our regular Freight Service, additional costs may incur.
Please note that deliveries and postage are contracted out to a third party delivery service and we are not responsible for the condition that the item arrives in.
